Alexandre WESTEEL

Project Manager

An engineering graduate of ISTOM, Alexandre has been involved in tropical forest management and land use planning for over 10 years. At BFConsult, he participates in the development of activities and sets up, monitors and implements projects for the private and public sectors. He supports forestry and agricultural players in their sustainable management and responsible sourcing initiatives. He is also involved in designing the digital and GIS tools developed by BFConsult.

Jeremie JAMIN

Project Manager

Jérémie is an engineer graduated from Gembloux. He specialises in the management of forests and natural environments. He has worked in the public and private sectors in Belgium and France and has almost 20 years' experience. He is a member of the Belgian forestry experts. He is a reference for Europe, North Africa, North America and Central Asia. He sometimes works in tropical areas. He has a sound knowledge of the forestry and timber industry. He is also an expert in GIS. For BFConsult, he manages properties and works in the field of QSE-RSE.

Brigitte AUQUIER

Project Manager

With a degree in Environmental Science and Management (ULB) and Commercial Engineering (UCL), Brigitte specialises in environmental project management and the EUDR. As a sustainable development project manager in the automotive industry, she analysed supply chains and formed an international group at the EUDR. She currently manages the EcoSource platform to help European importers comply with the EUDR, and carries out EUDR diagnostics for exporters and importers.

Jonathan DI PLACIDO

Project Manager

A forestry engineer with a degree from ENGREF, Jonathan has over 20 years' experience in sustainable forest management in Africa and Europe, forest certification and support for the implementation of FLEGT VPAs. At BFConsult, he is responsible for coordinating projects linked to the sustainable management of natural resources and the legality of timber, working with private and public sector organisations.

Nicolas DUBART

Administrator / Director

Bio-engineer in Nature Water and Forests graduated from the University Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of Gembloux, Nicolas has nearly 20 years of experience in sustainable forest management in Africa and Europe. Fully managing BFConsult since 2018, he coordinates its projects, ensuring expertise and international partnerships

Felix KODJIA KOUADIO

West Africa Representative

Holder of a PhD in Well-Being Agronomy and a graduate in agricultural economics from the National School of Agronomy of Côte d'Ivoire, Dr. Félix Kodjia has 20 years of experience in sustainable agriculture. Having led sustainability programs in West Africa, he is now West Africa Representative for BFConsult, bringing his expertise in EUDR, certification and green finance.

Fernando GONZÁLEZ RODRÍGUEZ

Colombia Representative

A graduate in Business Administration from the University of Los Andes in Bogotá, Fernando has over 30 years of experience in international trade, marketing, and sales. He provides strategic solutions for BFConsult's business development in Colombia, bringing his expertise to develop South American markets by optimizing the sale of our EUDR services and products.

Ana Carolina ROCHA REIS

Brazil Sales representative

Based in Sao Paulo, Ana Carolina is in charge of business development and sales of BFConsult products and services to companies and public bodies in the forestry sector: timber, cocoa, rubber, coffee, palm oil, soya, beef and cashew nuts.

A graduate in international trade from Helmo in Liège, Elisa is responsible for business development at BFConsult in Colombia. She works with private and public operators in the forestry-wood, cocoa, coffee, rubber, palm oil, soya, beef and cashew nut sectors, offering them sustainable, high-performance solutions to optimise their supply chains.

Claire MASSON

Study Officer

A qualified bio-engineer from Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, Claire specialises in the management of forests and natural areas. Claire has a sound knowledge of forest ecology and environmental mapping. She has acquired solid experience in Central Africa, where she supports the implementation of certification systems, builds staff capacity and monitors activities in forest concessions. At BFConsult, she is dedicated to promoting the sustainable management of natural resources.

Arnaud DEKENS

Study Officer

With a degree in Economics from Solvay and in Environmental Management from ULB, Arnaud combines economic expertise with environmental awareness. Drawing on his experience in team management, he optimises human and material resources while integrating the issues of sustainability, biodiversity and responsible management of natural resources into operational strategies.

An agricultural engineer with a degree from INP-HB, Paulin has over 15 years' experience in sustainable development, specialising in the fight against climate change, the resilience of natural and human systems, and forest governance. An expert in project management, partnerships and monitoring-evaluation, he is proficient in the design of management tools and operational planning. At BF Consult, he is responsible for business development, project coordination and technical expertise.

Youssef holds a Master's degree in Global Supply Chain Management from HEC Liège and specialises in analysing the risks of non-compliance with the EUDR. He has a thorough understanding of the implications and challenges of these regulations for supply chains, at both operational and strategic levels.
At BF Consult, he uses his expertise to design tailor-made solutions, helping our customers to comply with legal requirements in terms of traceability, due diligence and risk management.

Forest Governance Expert

A qualified forester from the Eastern Caribbean Institute of Agriculture & Forestry and holder of an M.Sc. in Forestry from Oxford University, Godfrey has a wealth of experience in forest management, community development and environmental and social impact assessment. He has co-managed international projects and worked with a range of organisations. Godfrey has developed expertise in the preparation of forest management plans, community development plans and environmental and social impact assessments.

Walter LÓPEZ GIRALDO

Environment and Forestry Research Officer

Environmental engineer from El Bosque University, specialised in environmental impact assessment of projects from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá, Walter has more than fifteen years of experience in environmental coordination of projects with a focus on sustainability management and reporting. He supports BF Consult's business development strategies in Colombia and Latin America.

Edas MUÑOZ GALEANO

Forest Governance Expert

A qualified forester from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras and holder of an M.Sc. in Forestry from Southern Illinois University, Edas has extensive experience in forest management, conservation and sustainable development. He has led international projects in reforestation, natural resource management and forest legality. He is currently overseeing the design and implementation of Honduras' national timber traceability system under the FLEGT-VPA.

Yves MACHIELS

Communications Officer

A graduate of ESA Saint-Luc Liège, Yves is skilled in technical and scientific visual communication. A graduate of ESA Saint-Luc Liège, Yves designs BFConsult's communication media and implements its communication strategy. He popularises technical content through graphics, illustration and motion design, designs teaching materials and manages community management.

Denis HERMAN

Forestry Expert

Denis Herman, a bioengineer graduated from Gembloux, has more than 15 years of experience in forestry and environmental management. He works on environmental permits, forestry expertise, and project management in Europe. Denis also brings his expertise to training projects and collaborates on the production and marketing of Christmas trees.
