EUDR compliance – Due diligence system assessment

The purpose of this mission was to assess the level of compliance of Fruytier SA's internal procedures with the requirements of the EUDR.

The analysis covered all due diligence processes, from the sourcing of standing trees to the delivery of the final product, including the various stages of wood processing.

Main deliverables:

•  Summary representation of the supply chain, from standing trees to the end customer. 
•  Definition of the EUDR roles of the various stakeholders in the supply chain and clarification of the regulatory responsibilities associated with each link.
•  Definition of the products and flows falling within the scope of EUDR (HS codes, dates of production and placing on the market).
•   Detailed diagnosis of existing due diligence procedures, covering aspects of governance, information gathering, risk assessment and risk mitigation.
•  Evaluation of existing tools and systems (ERP, data collection and storage systems, etc.).
•  Identification of regulatory gaps and residual risks.
•  Operational recommendations for achieving EUDR compliance.
