The aim of this mission was to clarify the roles, responsibilities and EUDR obligations of Galler Chocolate and all its partners in the cocoa-chocolate supply chain.
The analysis provided a clear and operational interpretation of the regulation for each link in the chain.
Main deliverables:
• Detailed mapping of the supply chain, from cocoa producer to direct customers.
• Regulatory classification of each actor (EU/non-EU, operator, trader, micro-enterprise, SME or large enterprise).
• Identification of the EUDR obligations applicable to each link (submission of a due diligence statement, transmission of DDS numbers).
• Analysis of the points of transfer of regulatory responsibility (import, processing, placing on the market).
• Summary table of EUDR obligations by actor, which can be used as a management and communication tool with partners.
